The "2018 TOKENSKY Blockchain Conference," co-sponsored by the Asia Pacific Blockchain Association, the TOKENSKY Organizing Committee, and Golden Finance, kicked off on March 14th at the Hilton Seoul in South Korea. Over the course of two days, more than 100 government officials and blockchain industry experts gathered to explore the core technologies of blockchain and the TOKEN economy as part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Discussions also covered relevant policies, challenges, and future directions of the blockchain ecosystem.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Token Sky Blockchain Conference. I’m Wang Zishang, CEO of Upper Media and founder of Token Sky. On behalf of the Token Sky organizing committee, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all of you and express my deepest gratitude to the global node partners, sponsors, and media friends who made this event possible.
As we gather in the spring of Seoul, and in the spring of blockchain, I invite everyone to listen to a special piece of music with me—a theme song created for Token Sky. This is the first time that blockchain has its own anthem, dedicated to the heroes who are working tirelessly across the globe to shape the future of this revolutionary technology.
Thank you. In the video we just watched, you saw what we’ve accomplished over the years. We started from the SP Forum in 2002, evolved into the Upper Network, and eventually became Upper Media. This year marks our 16th anniversary. Throughout these years, we have always believed in the vision of a virtual, distributed internet, embracing integration, win-win cooperation, openness, and sharing. The idea of zero cost and zero friction has helped us navigate through various industry waves time and again.
Many of our colleagues are now distributed across the cloud nationwide. In 2017, I published *Cloud Management 2.0*, which documents our journey and management philosophy over the past 16 years.
People in the blockchain space often tell me that there's a soul behind blockchain—the community it builds and the new ways of working it enables. This is essentially a form of cloud management, driven by broadened incentives and community development. It creates a new model of human collaboration and competition.
This year, I will be starting work on *Cloud Management 3.0*. I will also launch a new token, not through an ICO, but through a fair distribution model. This token will reward original creators, sharers, and evangelists in the blockchain industry. By promoting education and awareness, we aim to bring more people to understand the value of blockchain and digital currency, ultimately reshaping our social and organizational structures.
I hope *Cloud Management 3.0* won’t be written by me alone, but will be built collectively by countless individuals who support the token economy and identify with blockchain. My understanding of blockchain and tokens is that it solves a decentralized, self-organizing management system using asymmetric encryption, distributed storage, and P2P network protocols. People’s trust in global coordination is supported by blockchain, while tokens serve as the value medium of the ecosystem, driving internal dynamics and ensuring long-term stability.
This makes large-scale, efficient, and low-cost collaboration possible. A new token economy, combined with blockchain accounting techniques, is now making its mark on history, sweeping through finance, insurance, games, and even traditional industries.
The theme of Token Sky is “Token Changes the World.†We’ve brought together top economists, academics, legal experts, financiers, investors, geeks, farmers, industry leaders, miners, exchanges, media, and blockchain enthusiasts from around the world to discuss the future of blockchain. I look forward to the diverse discussions, opportunities, and challenges that will emerge during the next two days.
We will advocate for the Seoul Consensus, focusing on three key principles:
1. Actively embrace global regulations and cooperate with governments on digital currency policies.
2. Strengthen industry self-regulation and ensure project compliance.
3. Protect the rights of investors worldwide.
Every participant at this conference is a co-sponsor. Through our cloud management model, we’ve connected nodes across the globe in just a few months. Everyone’s efforts have contributed to the successful organization of the Token Sky conference in Seoul—this is the spirit of blockchain.
In the future, we plan to expand, inviting more heroes to join our global nodes and host Token Sky conferences in cities around the world.
Beyond the conference, we will establish blockchain incubators globally, deepen our presence in various industries, and build a new token economic system. We’ll create blockchain entrepreneurship colleges nationwide and develop an online platform called “Love Chain Customers†to support the classical internet sector, helping them understand blockchain and token economics.
We will also leverage our strengths in the gaming industry, upgrading the Upper Meeting established in 2013 into the Blockchain Game Alliance, uniting all blockchain games to build a new blockchain gaming world.
In short, this is an era of disruption and transcendence. It’s a big, grassroots movement where everyone can contribute. In this new world, we may have met before—but this time, we’ll meet again. Let each of us rise to the occasion, fulfill our mission, form the strongest alliance, and create a parallel new world of blockchain. Thank you all!
