The "2018 TOKENSKY Blockchain Conference," co-sponsored by the Asia Pacific Blockchain Association, the TOKENSKY Organizing Committee, and Golden Finance, kicked off on March 14th at the Hilton Seoul in South Korea. Over the course of two days, the event brought together over 100 government officials and blockchain industry leaders to explore the core technologies of blockchain and the emerging TOKEN economy of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Discussions also focused on related policies, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of this rapidly evolving field.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Token Sky Blockchain Conference. I am Wang Zishang, CEO of Upper Media and founder of Token Sky. On behalf of the Token Sky organizing committee, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you, and express my deepest gratitude to the global node partners, sponsors, and media friends who have supported this conference.
In this springtime in Seoul, and this springtime for blockchain, I invite everyone to listen to a piece of music with me. This is the first theme song ever created for the blockchain — called “Blockchain Heroes.†It’s dedicated to the heroes around the world who are fighting for the future of this industry.
Thank you. As you saw in the video, this is what we’ve done so far. We started back in 2002 with the SP Forum, then evolved into the Upper Network and eventually Upper Media. This year marks our 16th anniversary. Throughout these years, we've remained committed to the principles of a virtual, distributed internet, integration and win-win collaboration, openness, and sharing. Our vision of zero cost and zero friction has allowed us to keep moving forward through every industry wave.
Half of our team is now distributed across the cloud nationwide. In 2017, I published a book called *Cloud Management 2.0*, which documents the concepts and management practices we've used over the past 16 years.
Many in the blockchain space tell me that there's a soul behind blockchain — the community it builds and the new way of working it enables. This could be a form of cloud management, driven by broader incentives and the development of a strong community ecosystem. Such a system can create a new model for human collaboration and competition.
This year, I’m preparing *Cloud Management 3.0*. I will also issue a coin for this project. The coin won’t be sold through private offerings or ICOs — instead, it will be given out to original authors, sharers, and evangelists in the blockchain industry. This initiative aims to promote education and awareness about the value of blockchain and digital currency, ultimately reshaping our social and organizational structures.
I hope that *Cloud Management 3.0* won’t be written by just one person, but rather developed collectively by countless individuals who believe in the token economy and the power of blockchain. My understanding of blockchain and tokens is that they solve a set of decentralized, self-organizing systems using tools like asymmetric encryption, distributed storage, and P2P network protocols. These innovations enable global trust and cooperation, while tokens serve as the value media of the ecosystem, activating internal dynamics and ensuring long-term stability.
This is how large-scale, high-efficiency, low-cost collaboration becomes possible. A brand-new token economy is emerging, combining blockchain accounting techniques with traditional industries, and sweeping through finance, insurance, games, and even the traditional economy with a hurricane-like force.
The theme of Token Sky is “Tokens Change the World.†We invited top economists, academics, legal experts, financiers, investors, geeks, farmers, industry leaders, miners, exchanges, and blockchain enthusiasts from around the globe to discuss the future of blockchain. I'm looking forward to the various issues, opportunities, and challenges that will be addressed over the next two days.
During the conference, guests from around the world will share insights on regulation, law, development, and opportunities, helping to advance the blockchain industry. Together, we aim to advocate for the Seoul Consensus.
Key points include:
1. Actively embracing global laws and regulations and cooperating with governments on digital currency oversight.
2. Strengthening industry self-regulation and striving for project compliance.
3. Protecting the rights of investors worldwide.
Every member attending the Token Sky conference is not just a guest — they are co-sponsors. Through the cloud management model, we’ve connected nodes globally in just three months. Everyone’s efforts made the success of the Seoul event possible — this is the spirit of blockchain.
In the future, we want more heroes to join our global nodes and help host Token Sky conferences in cities around the world.
Beyond the conference, we will also launch blockchain incubators globally, deepen our presence in various industries, and build a new token economic system. We’ll establish blockchain entrepreneurship colleges nationwide and create an online community called “Love Chain Customers†to support classical Internet companies in understanding blockchain and token economics.
We will also leverage our strengths in the gaming sector, upgrading the Upper Meeting established in 2013 into the Blockchain Game Alliance, uniting all blockchain games to build a new blockchain gaming world.
In short, this is an era of disruption and transcendence — a big, grassroots movement where everyone can create. In this new world, we may have met before. This time, we meet again. Let each of us live up to the times, fulfill our glorious mission, form the strongest alliance, and create a parallel new world of blockchain. Thank you all!
