Taiwanese company Gogoro announces joint efforts with German Bosch to enter the local electric car market

It is estimated that from April this year, the number of Gogoro's service teams in Berlin will be quadrupled from 200, and a total of 1,000 Gogoro Plus will drive in Berlin. COUP and Gogoro cooperated for the first time in August last year and provided sharing services for 200 electric motorcycles in Berlin, which caused reverberation in the local area. The two sides decided to intensify their cooperation and increase the team lineup to 1,000 vehicles, and expand the scope of service in Berlin so that local residents and tourists can rent and return vehicles anywhere in the street and increase the freedom of movement of citizens in metropolitan areas. COUP is a start-up company that is 100% owned by German Bosch Group. It was established in August last year and launched Gogoro electric locomotive rental service in Berlin. It uses only Taiwanese brand Gogoro. Since the establishment of the company for more than seven months, there are currently more than 80 employees. The COUP service platform combines Gogoro and smart cloud-based modern services to instantly rent rides and payments with the mobile app. Lu Xuesen, the founder of Gogoro, stated that Gogoro's successful entry into the Berlin market, in addition to the possibility created by intelligent systems, is also an evolution of life because it has gained public recognition that the use of environmentally friendly electric two-wheeled sharing services to move in large cities.
