Computers teach you to behave like computers

Tech madmen who mix with computers and robots all day often have a certain degree of social barriers. To a certain extent, they stay in the same performance as these devices. The program is called "My Automatic Dialogue Coach" and uses a computer-generated screen image, supplemented by face, voice and behavior analysis and synthesis software to simulate face-to-face conversations. The software will provide users with feedback on the interaction, for example, whether their eye contact is decent or not, what the words emphasize in the speech, and the docile and fluctuating situation of the voice.

In experiments with MIT students as subjects, the subjects received two mock interviews. In the second interview, subjects received higher scores after receiving feedback from the system. That's good news for people with social phobias, because then they can practice at home and face real fears.
