Typically, locally produced systems can only measure one parameter of a single low-power LED at a time. This all-in-one system can perform a variety of optical and electrical test measurements on 20 different LEDs, including high-power lamps, in less than 60 seconds.
Within a single measurement sequence, the life test system can simultaneously perform optical measurements including total spectral radiation, luminous flux, peak wavelength, dominant wavelength, full width/half maximum, CIE saturation, and CIE chromaticity, as well as forward current. Electrical measurements of leakage current and reverse voltage. Lanfi Optics has powerful software that collects parameters for radiation, photometry and colorimetric measurements for user analysis to meet the requirements of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The Lanfi Optical Life Test Station helps the Institute to quickly and accurately test new products for customers, improving the reliability and energy efficiency of semiconductor lighting for street lighting, building lighting and outdoor signage. At present, China does not have a national standard for LED testing. The Center hopes that this new system will make up for the gaps in traditional LED test methods.
