On May 12th, the “Thousand Villages†project jointly sponsored by The Climate Group and Jet Li Foundation was launched in Zhangping Town, Pengzhou City, Chengdu, Sichuan. The “Thousand Villages Program†is a global public welfare project to promote low-carbon technologies and build clean rural areas. It aims to explore the operation mode of solar LED lighting technology in large-scale rural applications. On the day of the event, representatives from government officials from Sichuan, Chengdu, and Pengzhou, as well as representatives from Climate Group, Jet Li Foundation, and Zhuhai Linsheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. discussed the issue of post-disaster reconstruction and clean rural areas.

As a professional and low-carbon new energy enterprise, Zhuhai Linsheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. officially assumed the demonstration project of the “Thousand Villages†solar LED street lamp of The Climate Group. It is the first batch of solar LED lighting industry in the world and the world. The climate organization “Thousand Villages Program†establishes a cooperative relationship with the company.

In the “Thousand Villages†demonstration project, Linsheng will take the lead in the implementation of Guiyang and Chengdu Pengzhou!
As a public welfare donation project to promote the construction of new countryside, the project will greatly improve the living environment of local villagers. The first batch of demonstration projects were completed in Ziquan Village and Youyi Village, Fuping Town, Pengzhou, Chengdu, and some villages in Guiyang. It is planned to complete the installation and commissioning of street lamps in early June. The product used in this project is the “Solar Angel Eye†LED street light pioneered by Linsheng.
In the “Thousand Villages Planâ€, the World Climate Organization plans to implement solar LED lighting technology demonstration projects within five years through demonstration projects in 1,000 villages in China and around the world to promote more mature and large-scale application of solar LED lighting. Not just the lighting plan of “Thousand Villagesâ€, the world’s low-carbon lighting is just around the corner!
