Guangzhou's first LED energy-saving lighting exhibition hall appeared on the green road, and a high-power LED street light was installed on the outer wall of the exhibition hall to provide “new energy lighting†for the neighborhood. According to relevant sources of the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Guangdong will promote 8 million energy-saving lamps this year, and Guangzhou will have 650,000, of which 500,000 will be provided to the public.
According to the Guangzhou Electric Power Department, most of the residential projects on the Pearl River side use LED lights, which can save about 30% of power. Not only does it not affect the brightness, but it is also more stable and energy efficient.
A person from the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission said that if the financial subsidies for high-efficiency lighting products are fully promoted, it is expected to save about 384 million kWh per year, equivalent to saving 134,400 tons of standard coal.
