China has the world's largest and most complete manufacturing industry. However, the three core components of industrial robots have always been heavily dependent on imports. Among them, about 75% of the precision reducers in China's robotics industry were imported from Japan in 2015. The core components have become the major bottleneck restricting the Chinese robot industry.

Fortunately, the state has gradually realized the importance of core components for the development of China's industrial sector, and has successively introduced relevant policies to support related enterprises. In April of this year, the national ministries and commissions enacted a five-year plan for the robot industry to clearly emphasize that major breakthroughs must be made in key components. That is, the performance, precision, and reliability of precision decelerators, servo motors, and controllers for robots have reached the level of similar foreign products. , In the six-axis and above industrial robots to achieve batch applications, the market share of more than 50%.

OFweek robot network: In this exhibition, what products are displayed in the green harmonics? What are the characteristics? Used in which areas?

Li Qian: At this exhibition, Harbin's harmonics exhibited a total of 17 series products, including harmonic reducers that can be applied to different types of robots such as multi-associative series, six-axis, synergy, Scara, Delta, etc. Full robot coverage. The accuracy of Green Harmonic products is consistent with that of foreign countries and currently accounts for 50%-60% of the market share in the domestic market, which is higher than that of other similar foreign product brands. Only four top-tier companies in the world can exceed 20,000 hours of precision life. In the robotics industry, the accuracy of the harmonic reducer is 6,000 hours. In general, the green harmonic robot can completely replace imported products.

OFweek Robot Network: Green harmonics have long been engaged in research, development, design, and production of precision harmonic transmissions. What major breakthroughs have your company made at the technical level? What are the unique advantages compared to other domestic reducer products?

Li Qian: In fact, the study of green harmonic wave contact harmonic reducer was very early, and it was put into R&D since 2003. The predecessor of the company was mainly engaged in the OEM business of precision parts. At that time, Green Harmonics had already owned a group of international robotic customers to process its core components. We know that robots have evolved along with automobiles. For a long time, robots are mainly used in the automotive field. In the year 2000 or so, new market research and analysis found that the use of robots in the automotive industry has slowed down, and there has been a gradual increase in the incremental market, mainly in the stock market. At present, there are a large number of applications in the automotive production line in China, mainly in China, and few in other developed countries. Therefore, the next development direction of the robot will show the characteristics of man-machine collaboration, miniaturization, etc. The robot will replace the work of people in the electronics industry, food packaging and other fields, and these small machines need to use harmonic reducer.

There are two types of reducers used on the robot: one is the RV reducer and the other is the harmonic reducer. If you compare the robot to an adult, the RV reducer can be said to be the joint on the foot, and the harmonic reducer is the joint on the hand. To make a small robot, the amount of harmonics will be very large. At present, the harmonic reducer technology is monopolized by Japanese companies globally. At the beginning, the team of green harmonics did not make gear experts. Faced with this dilemma, the green harmonics identified a direction goal: they could not follow the imitation route and had to carry out theoretical research and development. After theoretical innovation, we have been adhering to six years, determining the optimal tooth shape, establishing a model, deriving corresponding mathematical formulas, and then using the formula as a guide to develop software by ourselves; we are taking a different technical route from monopoly companies. Therefore, there is no patent infringement, which is the biggest advantage of green harmonics compared with other domestic reducer products. Through 3D simulation, computer simulation and other technologies, our new product development cycle will be greatly shortened, from the industry's average two to three years compressed to six months of development cycle, which is mainly due to the research and innovation of our own technology. This is the biggest feature and advantage of our company.
