Google Drive cloud storage significantly lower prices

According to foreign media reports, Google drastically reduced the price of Google Drive's fee-based storage services and is clearly ready to compete with Microsoft's recently announced OneDrive service and compete with Dropbox, Box and other cloud storage services.

Google announced that Google Drive’s free storage space is still 15GB. Due to a number of recent improvements to the infrastructure, the monthly fee for 100GB of storage has been reduced from the original $4.99 to $1.99. 1TB of storage is reduced from the original monthly $ 49.99 to $ 9.99.

If users have demand, Google continues to provide the option to purchase more storage space. 30TB of storage is $299.99 per month. Users who have already purchased the Google Drive service will find that their paid prices have dropped significantly.

It will be interesting to see if Google’s price cuts will get Microsoft’s response.
