With the growing concern about health issues, smart wearable devices have become the hottest category of digital portable products. All major electronic brands are actively developing their smart wearable devices and do their best to compete in this field. Smart wearable devices include a wide range of products, including smart bracelets and smart watches that are widely accepted in the market. The Bluetooth 4.0 BLE technology with low power consumption and low speed is more easily accepted by the mass market and the smart wearable solution. Nowadays, BLE technology has become a common connection solution for wearable technology.
Toshiba's TZ1000 series of application processors, represented by the company, integrates Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE), low-power wireless communication standards, sensors, processors and flash memory. These features are tightly integrated into a single package, reducing the mounting area and making them ideal for small wearable devices. The processor is natively designed for low power consumption, so it is suitable for use in loadable devices that require long-term battery operation. This series of products currently includes models such as TZ1001, TZ1011, TZ1011, TZ1011 and TZ1041.

Highly integrated: The TZ1000 application processor family integrates low-power Bluetooth wireless communication module (BLE), sensors, memory and ARM Cortex-M4F 48MHz processor in one package. The functionality necessary for wearable devices is also integrated into a single package, which also facilitates the design of small systems while increasing the freedom of autonomous design;
High-precision analog front end: The TZ1000 application processor family features a high-performance analog front end (AFE) that integrates a 24-bit high-resolution analog-to-digital (A/D) converter for analog signals from external sensors (biomedical signals) For example, pulse and electrocardiogram (ECG) signals are converted to digital signals and transmitted to the internal processor. The analog front end can realize the detection of biomedical signals such as pulse while low precision while ensuring high precision;
Highly accurate: an internal embedded ARM Cortex-M4F processor with high performance ARM Cortex-M4F and floating point processing unit with digital signal processor (DSP) that integrates data from multiple internal and external sensors for improved accuracy Sex (sensor fusion) to increase the reliability of data.
