Millet TV 4A has been one of the most popular series this year, and now the attention is turning to the Twin 11 sales event. Xiaomi has launched the 4C series of Millet TVs exclusively available on Tmall, offering 43-inch and 55-inch models priced at 1849 yuan and 2649 yuan respectively (discounted price during Double 11). These prices are very close to those of the 4A series (1899 yuan for 43 inches and 2599 yuan for 55 inches). So, the question arises: which one should you choose between the 4A and 4C?

Starting with the 55-inch version of the 4C, its configuration is largely similar to the 4A, but the main difference lies in the design. The base features a simpler herringbone pattern, which looks more elegant than the 4A's design. Additionally, the front panel has a narrower frame, measuring just 0.9 cm. The plastic shell has also been upgraded to a piano paint finish, which gives it a more premium look compared to the 4A’s etched matte finish.

However, there's one downside: the infrared sensor on the 4C is located on the left side of the camera, while the 4A places it in the center of the bottom frame. This change might be less convenient when integrating power switches and other functions.

Now looking at the 43-inch version of the 4C, its hardware specs are slightly worse than the 4A. The main difference is in the storage—while the 4A comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage, the 4C only offers 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Although it’s 50 yuan cheaper, the reduced performance makes it less appealing. The design improvements include an arched base and a piano paint finish, but these don’t compensate for the weaker specs.
Overall, the 4C and 4A are quite similar, with minor changes in design and slight differences in performance. For the 43-inch model, the 4C falls short in terms of hardware. If the 4A’s price drops further during the Double 11 sale, it would be the better choice overall.
