Mitsubishi Electric began developing robotic products in 1982. The MELFAF series represents the company’s latest advancement in small industrial robots, capable of handling payloads from 3KG to 20KG. The vertical multi-joint model can lift between 2KG and 12KG. The robot’s range of motion has expanded from ±127° to ±170°, significantly increasing its working space and enabling full-angle movement.
Equipped with 2D and 3D vision sensors, the MELFAF series allows for precise object recognition and capture through image monitoring. It also features a force sensor, enabling accurate pressure monitoring for complex assembly tasks in the electronics industry. This makes the robot more precise and user-friendly.
Powered by Mitsubishi’s proprietary motors, high-rigidity arms, and advanced drive control technology, the MELFAF series delivers superior performance. Compared to the S-series, it reduces standard cycle time by 31% and increases handling capacity by 1.7 times. Its lifting speed is twice that of previous models. The MELFAF series will be available in the Chinese market in the second half of this year, offering enhanced efficiency and flexibility for industrial applications.
