Future Flat Football Art Chanel Mobile Art Museum

After a round-the-world roving exhibition, the Chanel Mobile Art Museum, designed by Zaha Hadid, eventually moved to Paris and was located outside the Centre for Cultural Heritage (institute du monde arabe) as a permanent pavilion. The global exhibition began in 2008 and passed through New York, Japan and Hong Kong. Chanel donated the art gallery to the Arab Cultural Center to showcase the work of outstanding designers, artists and architects from the Arab countries.

This program adopts a natural form and organization, and the final form is influenced by both functions and concepts. The flowing geometry and the organic curve form a dynamic spatial unity, light and shadow, indoor and outdoor space, natural and artificial objects are intertwined. The undulating skin and the flowing volume merge to redefine the quality and experience of each exhibition space.

The strange shape of flat football

Using the latest digital modeling tools, the twisted and undulating architectural form blends sculptural lines with formal logic. This low-profile spiral pavilion contrasts sharply with the Arabian Cultural Center (designed by jean nouvel).
