It is understood that the factory mainly produces cloth table lamps and fabric ceiling lamps, most of which are sold domestically. According to relevant national regulations, domestic lighting products must obtain 3C certification. Chen Yuehui, deputy head of the inspection team of the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, said that the factory not only failed to provide relevant materials for 3C certification, but also marked the 3C mark on the lamps, which is obviously illegal.
The person in charge of the factory argued that the factory had obtained the 3C certification before, but due to the recent relocation of the factory, the company did not have time to go through the 3C certification change procedures, the materials were sent up, and the review was passed, and the approval can be obtained in the near future. Chen Yuehui pointed out that according to the regulations, during the change period without formal approval, it is also not allowed to produce and sell products. We will temporarily seize these products and allow them to continue production and sales after they officially obtain 3C certification.
According to reports, 3C certification violations of lighting production and processing enterprises mainly include the following three types: First, in the absence of 3C certification, the production and sales of lighting products listed in the 3C certification catalogue; second, the 3C certification has been expired Or suspend, continue to produce catalogue products and use the 3C certification mark on the product; third, only some models have obtained 3C certification, produce uncertified models and use the 3C certification mark. In response to the low pass rate of lighting inspection products in Zhongshan City, the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau set up a lighting product quality inspection team last year.
