Guangdong energy-saving lamp quality is 85% unqualified


Recently, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau conducted supervision and spot checks on 17 kinds of products such as energy-saving lamps. Among them, the quality problems of energy-saving lamps and induction cookers were serious. The unqualified rate of energy-saving lamps was as high as 85.7%; the failure rate of induction cookers was 60.5%.

It is understood that the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has conducted a random inspection of 70 batches of energy-saving lamp products from 70 enterprises in Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Foshan. After inspection, it has passed 10 batches, and the qualified rate of product sampling batches is 14.3%.

According to the quality inspection personnel, the unqualified items are mainly: harmonics, interchangeability, lamp power, initial light effect / luminous flux, and protection against electric shock. But these projects are important indicators of energy-saving lamp safety and performance projects. The initial light effect/light flux reflects the energy efficiency of the energy-saving lamp. If the project fails, the energy-saving lamp will not save energy. If the harmonic project fails, it will cause a lot of harmful high-frequency harmonic currents in the circuit. If the circuit does not take measures, these high-frequency harmonic currents will cause harm to other consumers and the power grid itself through the public power grid. Unqualified protection against electric shock may result in accidental electric shock when installing or replacing the lamp.

It is reported that the demand for energy-saving lamps in the consumer market is getting larger and larger, but the energy-saving lamp products are not included in the CCC compulsory product certification and production license issuance. There is no entry threshold, and there are many manufacturers. Most companies have smaller sales scale. The company's quality awareness is weak and the product quality level is low.

The quality problem of induction cooker is also serious. According to reports, this time, 124 batches of induction cooker products from 124 production enterprises in Zhongshan, Foshan, Shantou, Dongguan, Guangzhou and other regions were sampled, and 49 batches were qualified. The unqualified rate of sampled batches was as high as 60.5%. Qualified 5 batches, the product batch failure rate was 56.5%.

According to reports, the problem of non-conformity of the induction cooker is mainly mechanical strength, heat resistance, flame resistance and tracking resistance, signs and instructions. According to industry insiders, due to fierce competition in the industry, the profits of enterprises have decreased, which has led some manufacturers to find ways to cut corners. In addition, the lack of experienced product designers and insufficient research and development capabilities have resulted in greater safety in product design. Hidden dangers eventually lead to products that do not meet the standard requirements.
