LG ThinQ smart speaker will debut CES 2018 equipped with Google Assistant

Amazon pioneered the new category of smart speakers. Since the release of Echo, major technology companies have entered the arena, including Google, Microsoft and Apple have announced similar products in the past two years. In addition, there has been news this year that Samsung is planning to launch smart speakers based on Bixby's assistants, but the official release date has not been given yet. However, another Korean manufacturer, LG, has already confirmed that they will launch a smart speaker based on Google Assistant at the CES 2018 show that opened on January 9-12. LG's smart speaker belongs to the ThinQ brand, which is LG's latest announcement of assisted artificial intelligence appliances brand. This speaker supports Meridian Audio audio technology, providing "more natural and gentle sound", while LG and Meridian Audio's cooperation is not limited to this ThinQ smart speaker, but also other bar speakers and portable speakers. The ThinQ smart speaker is LG's first product to support Google Assistant (except smart phones), which allows users to control SmartThinQ smart appliances through voice. LG will announce more information about the product at CES 2018, and its price is expected to be more competitive than Google Home.
