Hengyang invested a total of 3 billion yuan in Taiwan Industrial Park



12 Taiwan-funded enterprises such as LED energy-saving lighting manufacturer Chuanbao Optoelectronics recently started construction at the Hunan Hengbianwan Industrial Park. The total investment of 12 enterprises is as high as 3.02 billion yuan (the same below). Among them, Chuanbao Optoelectronics invested 700 million yuan. The factory covers an area of ​​100 mu and is scheduled to be put into operation in the second half of next year, with an annual output value of 6 billion yuan.
The Hengwan Bay Industrial Park with a total planned area of ​​37 square kilometers was formally laid the foundation yesterday, including the Chairman of the People First Party, James Soong, the Chairman of the Continental Association, Chen Yunlin, and the Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office, Sun Yafu, and other political and business people from both sides of the strait attended the ceremony and unveiled the park.
Hengwan Bay Industrial Park is located in Hengsha Baisha Industrial Park. It is approved by the Hunan Provincial Government to undertake the development of Taiwanese businessmen to Hengyang. The industry is positioned as electronic information, new energy and precision machinery manufacturing.
The report pointed out that the park has invested more than 700 million yuan in infrastructure construction, and the construction of hardware facilities such as roads and standard factory buildings has taken shape. At present, the park has signed 33 contract projects with an investment of about 6 billion yuan. After completion, it will become the largest Taiwanese investment enterprise gathering park in Hunan.
In the groundbreaking ceremony of the park, 12 projects such as Taiwan Chuanbao Optoelectronics started at the same time. These projects are in line with the industrial policies of the mainland, and have the characteristics of high technology content, good market prospects, energy conservation and environmental protection. After the project is completed and mass-produced, the annual sales income will reach 12.9 billion yuan.



Zou Yongxiang, Chairman of Chuanbao Optoelectronics, said that energy conservation and emission reduction has become a common topic of global concern, and it is hoped that through cross-strait efforts, the energy-saving products will become well-known brands.
Taiwanese investment in Hunan has gradually warmed up in recent years. Hengyang is the second largest area for Taiwanese investment in Hunan. Since the introduction of the first Taiwan-funded enterprise in 1988, 53 Taiwanese businessmen have invested in Hengyang, with a contractual use of US$230 million and an increase of 30,000 jobs. In the past 10 years, the local accumulated foreign exchange reached 570 million US dollars.
Among them, Kejing Microelectronics Co., Ltd., located in Baishazhou Taiwan Industrial Park, is a Taiwanese-owned enterprise engaged in the R&D and production of new semiconductor equipment. It now has 10 patents, solving 800 jobs and accumulating foreign exchange earnings of 6 million US dollars.
The company invested in Hunan Province is a Taiwan-funded enterprise registered in Hong Kong in September 2007. It has set up LED lighting product assembly production bases, sales centers and service centers in Taiwan, Kunshan, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
