Complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) complementary semiconductors (CMOS), like CCDs, are light-emitting semiconductors that record light in a scanner. At present, CMOS photosensitive devices are mainly applied to a small number of business card scanners and document scanners. The manufacturing technology of CMOS is not different from general computer chips.
