DOE plans to carry out LED lighting renovation for the Golden Gate Bridge

The US Department of Energy (DOE) evaluated the lighting of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and analyzed the feasibility of using LED lighting to replace the existing luminaires on the Golden Gate Bridge.

This technical feasibility study began to replace the existing high-pressure sodium (HPS) and low-pressure sodium (LPS) lighting fixtures at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
