Motorola has introduced a new set-top box to meet the growing demand for high-quality digital TV solutions in the Chinese market. The Motorola MDV 800 digital set-top box, designed by US and Chinese engineers and produced locally in China, provides a flexible and feature-rich solution for cable operators in China that are undergoing digital transformation.The Motorola MDV800 features a flexible architecture that supports TV broadcasts and a variety of advanced interactive applications, and is compatible with Tembec's JetCAS conditional access technology. The MDV800 has features comparable to high-end set-top boxes, such as TV web browsing, video on demand (VOD) and digital video recorders (DVR).
