Apple Vice President Phil Schiller updated the Mac product line at WWDC 2012, adding a new generation of MacBook Pro in addition to the existing MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. He called it "the most beautiful computer we have ever made."
The specific parameters are:
· 0.71 inches, 1/4 thinner than the original MacBook Pro, close to the Air and weighs 4.46 pounds.The 15.4-inch HD Retina Display has a resolution of 2880 x 1800, 220 ppi. The screen ratio of 16:10.
Quad-core Intel i5 or i7 processor. Up to 16GB RAM, Nvidia Kepler GeForce GT 650m GPU.
· Removed the optical drive.
· Maximum 768 GB SSD storage.
· Endurance up to 7 hours.
· SD card slot, HDMI output, USB 3.0, dual Thunderbolt interface, one headphone jack.
· Backlit keyboard, multi-touch pad.
· Minimum configuration of 2.3GHz quad-core Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and the price is $2,199.
· Start selling on the same day.
Although the original product did not update the retina screen, the new generation of MacBook Pro allowed us to see Apple's ideas for future laptops.
